Vinicius Vasconcelos

Vinícius Vasconcelos is a Brazilian professional dancer born in Itaguaí, Rio de Janeiro, who began his dance training as a teenager, developing a strong foundation in classical ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. His professional career has taken him across Brazil and the United States, where he has developed a reputation for versatility, technical discipline, and expressive artistry.
 

From 2018 to 2020, Vinícius danced with Oklahoma City Ballet in the United States, performing in productions including Alice in Wonderland, La Sylphide, and Romeo and Juliet. Returning to Brazil, he joined the Dalal Achcar Ballet Company, where he was a Soloist from 2022 to 2024, performing prominent roles in works including Talvez by Alex Neoral, Swinging by Eric Frederic, and Conto de Natal by Dalal Achcar. His career also includes guest appearances with Birmingham Ballet, Albany Berkshire Ballet, Petrouchka Ballet, and Companhia de Ballet do Rio de Janeiro.
 

Vinícius has received recognition in international competitions, including 3rd place at Tanzolymp Berlin (2017) with variations from Coppélia and La Fille Mal Gardée, as well as medals and scholarships at dance festivals in the United States and Europe. He has trained under renowned ballet masters including Alice Arja, Cecília Kerche, and Ronaldo Martins, and continues to expand his repertoire across classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballet.
 

As an Artist with WGRUV Dance Company, Vinícius brings his international experience, versatility, and expressive approach to the company’s work.
